Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 30th November 2021
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Dry for many, increasing cloud and cool then windy with rain tonight

A cloudier, breezier and milder day ahead for many. There will be some low cloud, mist and drizzle affecting many northern and western coasts and hills. More persistent rain in northwest Scotland. Most of the mist and fog affecting western coasts and hills. A few bright spells in more central and southern areas.

This afternoon stays cloudy with further spots of drizzle on hills. Mist and fog patches to over western coasts and hills. The rain turning heavier with more persistent rain in Scotland and Ireland by late afternoon. Feeing much milder for most areas.

Tonight sees wind and rain passing eastwards through all areas. Cooler air follows from the west as winds turn to the northwest. Rain turning to sleet and snow in northern Scotland later.
