Fog patches slowly clearing. plenty of cloud and staying chilly
Mist and fog patches across much of Ireland and southern Scotland this morning. Cloudier skies for England and eastern Wales with a few showers in the southeast. Rather cloudy in northern Scotland with some drizzle on coasts. Some brighter spells in Wales and the far southwest of England.
This afternoon stays chilly. Most fog lifting to leave some bright or sunny spells in west Wales, southern and western Scotland. Bright or sunny spells for western Ireland but some cloud in the east. Other areas will be dry but mainly cloudy, especially in the east.
Tonight stays cloudy in the east and south. Some fog patches in Scotland and Ireland. A widespread frost through western Scotland and Ireland.
