Good morning,

As Storm Bert moves eastwards north of Scotland, blustery winds will be widespread across the country. The west coasts north of Wales will experiences exceptionally strong winds, potentially gale force. Cloudy conditions will dominate with occasional sun, greater chances of sun across the east in the lee of mountains. Clouds will produce some showers in western areas, potentially heavy in western Scotland. Fortunately, temperatures will remain mild with highs around 8C in the north and 12C in the south.

Overnight, showers likely to clear across the Midlands to the south, with an associated easing of winds. North and west coasts of Scotland likely to see increasing rains throughout the night and continued high winds. Minimum temperatures of 3C to 5C in most places.
