Becoming sunnier
A little early rain

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 22nd June 2024
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Warm and fine into the evening

Good morning,

Patchy rain and local showers in central and eastern England this morning. Local drizzle on some western coasts and hills.

Cloud thinning and breaking from the west to give increasing amounts of sunshine onward into the afternoon and evening for many places. Light westerly breezes.

Rain and drizzle develops for western Scotland later in the day as fronts drift in from the Atlantic, thickening cloud across Ireland too.

Today's top temperatures reaching a pleasantly warm 19 to 23C.

Have a great day.
Garry
