Drier for Wales and southwest
There will be areas of heavy rain today, particularly in the southeast, plus some slow-moving showers or longer periods of rain again in northern Britain.
Rain may come and go in the south through the day, a risk of heavy falls returning through the afternoon in the southeast of England. Local thundery bursts bring a risk of localised flooding.
Wales, the Midlands and the southwest should escape somewhat drier, but rather cloudy and a risk of some showery rain. Breezy around Cornwall and Devon coasts. Thundery showers will develop increasingly across Scotland this afternoon, focused on the Highlands.
Today's top temperatures will be between 16 and 21C and feeling quite humid.
Have a great day.
