Scattered showers in the east, some rain in southern Wales and Ireland later
It's a mostly fair day ahead for much of England and eastern Wales. There will be some good spells of sunshine and apart from a scattering of showers it should be staying dry. Most of any showers over the hills.
Increasing cloud in southern Ireland, southern Wales and southwest England bringing some outbreaks of rain and drizzle here. Most of this should only be light, before turning to more persistent rain by the end of the night.
Temperatures staying cool, best in the east in the sunshine.
