A mild weekend
Dry for many

Rain on and off in north-western Britain & Ireland

Good morning,

High pressure is located south-east of Britain, whilst another high is centred near the Azores. Low pressure is north of Scotland, and slack pressure exists toward Biscay.

A general south-westerly flow affects the British Isles, the strongest breeze in the north. Patchy rain for Scotland, Northern Ireland and later north-west England - rainfall amounts fairly small, but particularly in west & south-west Scotland may persist for many hours.

Largely dry and bright for central, south & eastern Britain, with sunshine breaking through, generally best toward the east.

Sunday will be similar, with best sunshine toward the east, whilst thickening cloud brings drizzly rain to the north-west of Britain & Ireland.

Today's top temperatures will be 9 to 12C, and it stays mild into Sunday.

Have a great weekend.
Garry
