Rain and drizzle west
Good morning,
High pressure will be centred to the southeast of Britain today and will persist here throughout the week ahead. A southwesterly airflow prevails, bringing gradually milder air to all regions.
Central, south and eastern districts will be dry with some sun through high cloud, local fog patches in the morning.
Weak fronts draped across west and northwestern areas bring some rain and low cloud over the hills, most persistent in western Scotland in the morning, slipping south into southwest Scotland and Cumbria in the afternoon.
Today's top temperatures reaching 5C in central-eastern England, up to 7 to 9C further west and north over England and Wales, or 10 to 12C for Ireland and parts of Scotland.
Have a great day. Garry
