Staying warm and humid with sunshine

Wednesday 14 August 2024 A dry and sunny start for Derry, Antrim through to Highland to Borders, across Northumberland and Cumbria to Gwynedd temperature 8C rising steadily through the morning to 16C. Remaing dry with sunny spells and variable cloud through the afternoon though becoming generaly cloudy Derry and Antrim and into the Western Isles and Highland, temperatires 18C through the afternoon winds increasing from the SW. A mainly dry though cloudy start Lincolnshire, Shropshire to Dorset and along south coast to Kent, remaining cloudy through the morning temperatures 15 to 18C Worcestershire to Bedfordshire, cloudy breaking to give a warm and sunny afternoon through Powys, Wiltshire to Devon and into Hampshire, 22C into the evening. Cloud tending to break later through the afternon and into the evening across Norfolk to Kent though warm and humid with increasing sunshine, 22 to 24C for Suffolk with sunshine into the evening. Remaining dry with variable cloud to clear overnight for most of England and Wales, cloudy into western Scotland with rain overnight.
