Wednesday 07 August 2024 Cloudy with prolonged and often heavy rain for Western Isles, north and western Highland to start with a mix of patchy rain and frequent showers during the morning and into the afternoon for Antrim, Dumfries, running into Cumbria and later through the afternoon towards Shetland and Fife, 13C in west though 15 Moray to Borders. Cloudy to start for Wales into Shropshire to Wiltshire and across Cornwall, with sunshine for midlands to Suffolk through the morning, cloud though will increase all areas of England through the afternoon, 18 to 20C likely 22 for Suffolk and Kent. Dry for most though scattered showers Cumbria, and patchy rain during the evening skirting into Cornwall.
