Wednesday 28 August 2024 Cloudy to start with outbreaks of rain across Derry and Antrim, western Isles, into Highland and Dumfries, later to Tayside, cool and breezy especialy near western coasts with showers and sunshine to follow during the afternoon cool 16C, though 18C Moray Firth. Cloudy through the morning across Cumbria, CHeshire to Clwyd with patchy rain for a time breezy near western coasts, with fresh SW wind Cornwall to Cumbria, remainder of England dry cloudy at times though increasing sunshine during the afternoon, 20C generally Oxfordshire to Northumbria 23C Linclonshire to to Kent. Cloudy with patchy rain heading over Northern Isles to Borders through the evening, with showers decreasing in west with a mostly dry night to follow. Showers briefly into the evening acros Northumbria to Cheshire though these clearing durng the evening with a mainly dry night to follow. Wales, Devon and Cornwall through midlands to Sussex and kent sunshine at first through the evening 20C, with a dry night with variable cloud to follow 15C.
