A brisk west to south-westerly wind on many days.
Limited rainfall in south and southeast.
Unsettled with frequent rain across western Scotland.
Showers likely to affect western areas through week.
Temperatures best in the sun further south and southeast.
Cooler further north and west.

Pressure builds across more of the country.
A drier week overall.
Warmer too with a southerly flow.
Risk of cloudier skies and possible drizzle across far western areas.

Low pressure bringing rain at times across country.
Temperatures fall back to around average.

Weak high pressure moves more over North Atlantic.
Low pressure trough sets up across much of the country.
A west to north-westerly wind flow.
Showery rain is expected to affect particularly northern and western areas.
A relatively cool week with temperatures generally below average.
