A mostly fair and warm end to August, turning more unsettled mid-September

August is set to be ending on a fair note, although it won;t be plain sailing all the way. There will be a few days when rain or showers could occur. It may become warm too. Early September may be dry but becoming increasingly mixed, unsettled and cooler as the jet stream strengthens.

Becoming dry, sunny spells and warmer.
Most rain in far west Ireland.

Mostly dry start.
Dry and warm.
Risk rain later.

Tending more mixed.
May be cool.
More unsettled later.

Wetter weather.
Breezy at times.
Most rain north and west.
