Dry and cool at first, more mixed end of the month and early May
High pressure is going to be dominating the weather for first part of the forecast. This is going to be bringing lots of dry weather with sunny spells. However, a deterioration is expected by the end of the month and into early May with rain and cooler weather. Turning drier and milder into the middle of May.
*19/4/21 - 25/4/21* High pressure over UK. Dry, sunny spells. Remaining cool. Overnight frosts.
*26/4/21 - 2/5/21* More mixed week. Some showers south and east, possibly rain. Dry northern and west. Staying cool.
*3/5/21 - 9/5/21* More unsettled, especially north and west. Rain passes east. Drier to southwest, but rain here too. Milder.
*10/5/21 - 16/5/21* Drier Ireland, Wales and southern England. Outbreaks rain north and west Scotland. Patchy rain fades northern England. Mild to average.
*17/5/21 - 23/5/21* Showers, some thundery. Warm. Most showers in west.
