Best in Scotland with a tendency towards more unsettled weather for all late in May and early June
Much of May is indicated to be drier than average in Scotland with higher pressure close by. Wetter to the south with low pressure passing east at times, and then a general trend towards more unsettled weather in the final stages of the month. early June is also likely to be unsettled for all.
*12/5/18 - 18/5/18*
Mixed or unsettled with periods of rain at times. Northern and eastern Scotland may be drier. Cool for all, especially in the west.
*19/5/18 - 25/5/18*
Indications of higher pressure building to the north of Scotland this week. This is likely to be bringing drier weather to the northern two thirds of the UK and Ireland, sunny spells and dry. The risk of some rain or showers to the south, and staying cool here too.
*26/5/18 - 1/6/18*
Staying unsettled in the south with low pressure areas bringing periods of rain. A dry start to the north, but turning more mixed here as the week progresses. Rather cool for most.
*2/6/18 - 8/6/18*
More unsettled for all through this week. Lower pressure tending to be to the west bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain. Less rain in the east, although staying cool and unsettled here.
