A cold month with wet weather at first, then turning frosty and drier later
November is likely to be a cold month overall. Low pressure brings wet and windy weather in the first part of the month. It may be very wet and windy at times in the south. By the middle of the month conditions should turn more showery, although it stays cold. The showers falling as sleet and snow. At the end of the month and into early December conditions may become colder, drier and frostier as higher pressure builds to the east.
