Wetter in central and northern Europe but fair in the east
Hot and dry for western Spain and Portugal, topping 30C in the south-west. Breezy and cooler around northern coasts of Iberia. A zone of thunderstorms affects eastern Spain and southern France, some severe storm cells possibly drifting toward the western Alps through the day. South-west France may escape dry, whilst the Brittany region is likely to see some heavy showers.
A much cooler day across France, nearer 20C. The heat will have been pushed further into eastern Europe, with high topping 30C in the Balkans, Hungary and Poland. Thundery across Germany too as a cold front advances east.
Hot again for Italy, with lots of sunshine. High pressure across eastern Europe maintains dry and warm weather. Showers for southern Norway & Sweden, drier toward the north, but some showers on western coasts. Rain for southern Finland.
Showers in northern and eastern parts of Spain. More southern and western areas will be drier and brighter with good spells of sunshine. Staying fine across the Balearics. Some heavy and thundery showers in central and northern Italy. Greece should be dry and warm with more sunshine to come here throughout the day.
A wet day in France with cloud and rain, some of it thundery. Showers in the Low Countries and much of western and southern parts of Germany. Poland is likely to be wet too with periods of rain here. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland are going to be cloudy and wet too, the rain may be thundery.
Mostly fair in Denmark with sunny spells and scattered showers. The Baltic States should be fair too with sunny spells here. Mostly fair across Finland with some good spells of sunshine. Norway and Sweden will be bright with sunny spells and just a few showers.
