Dry Spain & Portugal; high temperatures south-west

A dry and warm day across Iberia, up to 35C in the south-west. Breezy for Portugal. A chance of local shower in eastern Spain. Dry for most of the Mediterranean, but some rain affects western Italy. A mistral wind for southern France, but it should stay dry here. Hot for south-eastern Europe, topping 30C in the Balkans, Hungary and Romania. Lots of sunshine for Greece and the Black Sea region.
Unsettled for central Europe, with heavy rain for the Alps and southern Germany. A pulse of thundery rain will spread north across the Czech Republic into western Poland. Areas of heavy showers for central and northern France and the Low Countries. A few showers for southern Scandinavia, 18 to 21C. Cooler in western Norway. Bright skies around the Baltic. Some heavy rain for northern Finland.

Hot and dry for south-west Spain and Portugal, highs 35C, whilst the Biscay coast is cooler with a breeze. Low pressure centred over northern Italy brings rain and possible thunder, which also affects the Alps, the northern Balkans and south-eastern parts of France. Dry for Greece and Black Sea coasts, whilst a thunderstorm is possible for the mountains of Romania.
West and northern France will be dry and bright, as high pressure builds across north-western Europe. Feeling fresh, highs 22C. A few showers possible for the Netherlands, and scattered bursts of rain likely for Germany too. Some rain around the southern Baltic, perhaps northern Poland, although southern Poland and the Czech Republic look dry. High pressure over Scandinavia brings a fair day to much of northern Europe, although local showers may affect southern Norway and Sweden.
