Heavy rain across central parts of Europe, drier in the east

Thursday
Rain in northern areas of Portugal and Spain today. Drier in southern areas and brighter too. Showers in the Balearics with some heavy rain for Corsica and Sardinia. Showers in central and northern Italy, fair in the south. Greece and Turkey will be fine and dry with lots of sunshine here.
Heavy periods of rain for France. Scattered showers in the Low Countries and the far north of Germany. Drier in the south and east of Germany. Poland will be breezy and mild. Hungary dry with sunny spells. Staying fair for most of Austria and Switzerland.
Increasing cloud but dry in Denmark. Windy for the Baltic States, dry with sunny spells here. Breezy too in Finland and dry. A windy day in Sweden and dry with sunny spells. Cloud and some outbreaks of rain for western Norway, windy too.

Fair for much of Spain and Portugal but some showers in the far northwest. Heavy showers for the Balearics. More showers in Corsica and Sardinia. Further heavy showers for Italy. Fair across Greece and Turkey with sunny spells here but some rain in northern Turkey.
Showers across France, some of them heavy, more persistent rain in the far west. Cloud and rain or showers in the Low Countries and the far west of Germany. Fair in eastern Germany and Poland where it will be windy too. Sunny spells in Hungary and Austria but some showers in southern Switzerland.
Bright spells and dry in Denmark. Breezy and dry in the Baltic States and Finland with sunny spells. Broken cloud in Sweden with some bright spells. Norway will be dry with bright or sunny spells and feeling warm here too.
