Rain spreads to Italy & Balkans, snow for mountains

Saturday
High pressure lies to the west of Europe, whilst low pressure influences central areas. A cool pattern for the heart of the continent. However, a wind flow from the interior of Spain will aid some very warm temperatures for the south of Spain and Portugal, topping 30C. Local showers in central and northern Spain. Fair in the central Mediterranean with sunshine. Warm and sunny too in southern Italy as well as Greece will be good too with warm and sunny weather.
Showers or longer spells of rain in central parts of Europe, including France and Germany, and snow for the Alps. Sunshine and areas of showers for Poland and eastern countries, some of the showers thundery.
The Baltic States will be showery too with sunny spells. Southern Sweden, plus the far north of Scandinavia should be mostly dry with sunshine. Heavy showers in Norway.

Sunday
High pressure builds across northwest Europe, leaving much of Germany, the Low Countries, France and Iberia dry. Very warm again in southwest Spain and Portugal. Around 25C in eastern Spain.
A strong mistral wind for southern France, as low pressure develops over the central Mediterranean. Thundery rain for central and southern Italy, plus the Balkans, with snow over the mountains. Unsettled too for eastern-central Europe. Sunshine and scattered showers for Romania and Bulgaria. Largely dry for mainland Greece and the Aegean Sea.
A cool northwesterly breeze across Scandinavia. Low pressure to the north brings heavy rain and snow to northern Sweden and Norway. Dry around the southern Baltic.
