Varied weather conditions across Europe despite a lot of dry weather though, many areas very warm, hot across southern regions.
Into Monday and high pressure continues to dominate across the UK and down into France with plenty of fine and very warm weather here. A weak area of low pressure may bring some showers or spells of rain to more southern areas of Norway and Sweden, perhaps Denmark too through the course of the day. Much of Europe though will be void of any active weather systems and that does mean plenty of dry weather with spells of very warm summer sunshine. However, further scattered afternoon heavy showers or downpours are likely across inland areas of Spain and Portugal, perhaps parts of Italy, the Balkans and into some eastern areas of the Med too.
During Tuesday and the weak area of low pressure will maintain rather cloudy conditions across parts of Denmark down into Belgium and across parts of Germany too with some patchy rain or showers here. Much of Scandinavia will be dry with sunny spells and pleasantly warm. The fine weather continues across the UK, but turning fresher from the north through the day. Much of Spain and Portugal maintain the risk of some heavy and thundery downpours across inland areas through the afternoon, but otherwise there will be plenty of sunshine, very warm or hot here too. Through much of the Med, towards Italy and eastwards through the Balkans and on towards Greece and Turkey it remains very warm or hot with plenty of summer sunshine but there will remain a risk of localised afternoon downpours.
