High pressure builds over the north

Tuesday
Showers for northern parts of Portugal and Spain, dry and bright further south. Some heavy rain mostly for central and southern parts of France. Showers for southeast England, elsewhere mostly dry and bright over the British Isles. Windy and wet for the Low Countries, and north Germany, drier further south. Heavy rain for Denmark along with strong winds. Norway and Sweden mostly dry and bright, but wintry showers in far north. Some rain for north Poland. Mostly dry and bright for Finland. A dry start for the Baltic States and Belarus but some rain later. Dry but rather cloudy for Ukraine.
Heavy rain spreading east over Switzerland and Austria in the morning, gradually moving east over Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia. Mostly dry and bright for Romania and the Balkans.
Dry with sunny spells for the Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica. Some heavy rain for north Italy, sunnier further south. Sunny for Greece and Cyprus. Showers for north Turkiye.

Wednesday
A rather cloudy day for the Iberia with heavy rain over central and northern parts. Heavy rain at first over southern France, otherwise bright with showers. Mostly dry and sunny for the British Isles. Rain at first over the Low Countries, drier brighter later. Same for Germany, while some rain is expected for Poland. Dry and bright for Denmark, Norway and Sweden away from the far north where showers are expected. Rather cloudy for Finland but dry. Outbreaks of rain for the Baltic States and Belarus. Dry for Ukraine.
