Cool but sunny for Scandinavia

Today
Quite warm from Spain across into Italy, The Adriatic Region and the Balkans. Here we will see the warmest temperatures. Lots of dry, sunny weather to come across Portugal, and Spain. Showers may affect the Balearics. An area of heavy rain is expected across France into southern Germany with heavy showers and thunderstorms across the Alpine Region. Rain and showers are also likely across the Czech Republic and Austria. Sunny and warm across Italy while a few showers develop across the Adriatic Region. Fine and summery today across the Balkans, Turkey and the Ukraine. Apart from a few showers across western parts of Norway, it will be sunny and dry across much of Scandinavia. Dry as well across the Baltic States. A strong mistral to affect southern France with strong easterly winds to prevail through the Straits of Gibraltar.

It continues fine and dry with sunny spells across Spain and Portugal. An unsettled day across northern France with a number of showers. Fine and dry across Belgium, Holland, Denmark and most of Germany and the Czech Republic. Heavy spells of thundery rain will persist across the Alpine Region into Austria. Some heavy showers and scattered thunderstorms will affect Italy and the Adriatic Region with a few sharp showers as well across Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. Fine and sunny across Turkey. Some patchy rain may affect Poland. High pressure will keep is sunny and dry across Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Baltic States and western Russia. Very windy again today across the south of France.
