Thundery across Germany and eastern Europe but fair to the west

Heavy showers in northern Spain and the far north of Portugal today. Fair for the rest of Iberia with ots of sunshine and hot weather. Scattered showers in the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Showers affecting the far north of Italy but most of the country should be dry and sunny. Fair too in Greece and Turkey with lots of sunshine and feeling very warm.
Fair in France with lots of very warm sunshine to come here. Scattered showers in the Low Countries. Heavy showers for much of Germany and Poland, these thundery and torrential in places. Further thunderstorms in Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Mainly fair for Denmark with lots of sunshine. Fine for Sweden with plenty of sunshine. Scattered showers in the Baltic States and in Finland. Sunny spells and mostly dry for Sweden although some showers in the south.

The risk of torrential thunderstorms in northern Spain and the north of Portugal on Thursday. Fair for most of the rest of Spain and Portugal with plenty of hot sunshine. Remaining sunny and warm in the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Some cloud and a few showers in the far north of Italy but fine for most of the country with lots of sunshine. Greece and Turkey should be dry and sunny throughout.
Scattered showers affecting France but dry and sunny for most. Thunderstorms developing in the Low Countries. Wet weather developing in Germany and Poland with showers, thunderstorms and longer periods of rain. Cloud and outbreaks of rain in Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Broken cloud and sunny spells as well as dry in Denmark. The threat of thunderstorms developing in the Baltic States. Finland will be drier with sunny spells. Scattered showers in Sweden. Heavy showers and thunderstorms affecting Norway.
