Western heavy thunderstorms, fair and warm Mediterranean
During sunday and high pressure will be maintained across much of the UK extending up into Norway, Sweden and most of Finland so many northern areas of Europe continue with a lot of fine weather and pleasantly warm too, especially so across the UK despite a developing breeze here.

The remainder of Europe continues with plenty of sunshine but with some heavy and thundery showers and during Sunday these are likely to be most frequent, and perhaps severe, across France, Spain and Portugal of which continues to be particularly cool and unsettled for the time of year.
Heavy thunderstorms in northwest Portugal and the north of Spain today. Mostly dry and fair elsewhere with lots of sunshine. Dry too in the Balearics and through Italy with lots of sunshine. More sunshine for Greece and into Turkey, staying dry and very warm.
Heavy and thundery showers in France, some of them torrential. Fair for the Low Countries and Germany. Fine too in Poland with lots of sunshine, although there could be cloud and rain in eastern Poland.
