Cool and showery northern Europe

Tuesday
Most of Spain and Portugal will be dry, best of sunshine and warmth in the south, some local showers north. Scattered showers for the Balearics and Corsica. Mostly dry for Sardinia. Showery for Italy with some thundery bursts down the spine of Italy by afternoon. Heavy rain and thunderstorms for the Balkans and into western Romania too. Mostly dry for Greece and Turkey.
Showery outbreaks of rain through France and the Low Countries, moving into Germany. Scattered showers for the western Alps, drier for Austria. Fine for Czechia and Slovakia. Rain for northern Poland, drier in the south. Rain too in the southern Baltic region, some thundery rain moving away eastwards.
Showery and cool for Norway and northern Sweden. Some patchy rain for Denmark, drier for the south and east of Sweden and southern Finland.

Wednesday
A fine and warm day for Spain and Portugal, plus the south and west of France. Odd showers for the western Mediterranean but also good amounts of warm sun. Showery for southern Italy, some local heavy thundery bursts in northern Italy. Showers forming for mainly Greece. Mostly dry for the Greek Islands, Turkey and Cyprus. Thunderstorms breaking out for Romania and Bulgaria.
Rain for Belgium and the Netherlands extending into western Germany. Areas of rain and showers for Switzerland and Austria, also eastern France. Mostly dry for eastern Germany and Poland. Patchy rain for Czechia, dry for Hungary and much of the Balkans.
Some slow-moving showers for central Sweden and Finland. Breezy with some rain for Denmark. Local showers in western Norway, drier in the south.
