Thundery Italy and Greece, mostly fair elsewhere


Tuesday
The heat wave continues across Spain and Portugal with a dry, sunny day to come. Very warm and sunny into France. Lots of dry, sunny weather across Italy but an area of heavy showers and rain may affect the extreme south and also Greece with heavy showers across The Adriatic Region and much of the Balkans.
Fine, sunny and very warm across Turkey and The Ukraine. Fine and warm today across England, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and this fine weather extends further east across Poland The Baltic States into Russia. Heavy rain spreads in across Norway later in the day but fine, cool and dry across Sweden and Finland.
An area of heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected from Sardinia eastward to south of Greece. Showers and longer spells of rain are forecast across the Czech Republic and Austria. Quite windy across the Adriatic, Italy and the central Mediterranean.


Wednesday
Staying warm through Portugal and Spain with plenty of sunshine. Dry too in the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Heavy, thundery showers affecting central and southern Italy. Showers also in northern parts of Greece. Pleasent sunshine across Greece and staying warm here too.
Remaining fair for France with the best sunshine in the east. Warm and dry in the Low Countries and Germany with plenty of sunshine here. Poland will be dry and sunny, with the sunshine extending through Hungary, Austria and Switzerland.
Another fine day to come in Denmark and staying sunny here. More sunshine over the Baltic States and staying dry here. Breezy for Finland with sunny spells and an odd shower. Sweden will be dry and sunny. Cloudier for western Norway where there will be drizzle or patchy rain.
