Heavy thunderstorms in central Europe, mainly far south and north


Thursday
Isolated showers in northern Spain. Fine for most of the rest of Spain and Portugal with lots of sunshine. More sunshine in Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily and Italy. Greece and Turkey should be dry with lots of sunshine throughout the day.
Heavy showers and thunderstorms developing in France. A scattering of showers over the Low Countries. The southern half of Germany will have heavy thunderstorms although the north should be dry. Fair in Poland with good spells of sunshine. The heavy showers and thunderstorms affect Switzerland and Austria although Hungary will be dry.
Denmark will have a fine day with lots of sunshine. Fair for Norway with lots of sunshine here. Staying sunny in Sweden again with plenty of sunshine. The Baltic States and Finland having a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers.


Friday
Mostly fair in Iberia on Friday although there may be a few showers developing on hills. Fine through the Balearics and into Italy, although some thunderstorms afecting the far north ofItaly. A few afternoon showers forming in Greece whilst Turkey should be dry with lots of sunshine.
Thundery showers in eastern France whilst the west of France is dry with good spells of sunshine. A few showers to come for northern Germany although dry in the Low Countries. Thunderstorms in Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland in the afternoon.
Denmark is going to be dry but rather cloudy, brightening later. Sweden will have broken cloud nd should be dry with sunny spells. Sunshine for Norway. Showers, some heavy affecting the Baltic States whilst Finland will havesome heavy showers.
