Fine through the Mediterranean
Monday Showers may affect the far north of Spain on Monday, some of these thundery. For the rest of Spain and Portugal the day will be fair with lots of sunshine. Staying fine and sunny as well as hot over the central Mediterranean. More sunshine in Greece and Turkey. Hot and sunny for most of France with sunny spells, although scattered thunderstorms forming in the far south in the late afternoon. The Low Countries will be fair with sunny spells and dry weather. Germany will be dry too, more hot sunshine here. Poland will be dry and sunny. Fair weather for Hungary with sunshine. Some heavy showers in Austria and Switzerland. Denmark stays dry and fair, lots of sunshine here. Scattered showers for the Baltic States and then fair across Finland. More fine weather for Sweden where it is dry and sunny. Staying fine too in Norway, more sunshine to come here.
Tuesday Southern Spain and Portugal remain fine with hot sunshine. Thunderstorms for northern Spain. Areas of thunderstorms breaking out across France and into Germany and the Low Countries during the day, some intense downpours as high temperatures break down here. Much of the Mediterrain will be fine, with sunshine for Italy and Greece. Very high temperatures across eastern Europe, well into the 30s for many countries. High pressure brings lots of sunshine through Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary. Rain moves into western Norway. A risk of thunderstorms reaching Denmark by evening. Much of Sweden, Finland and the Baltic states will be fine and very warm as southerly air is wafted extensively northward over Scandinavia.
