Fine, hot and sunny in much of central and southern Europe
Tuesday An improved day across Spain and Portugal though still expect some showers about. Dry and fine across the Balearics. Cloudy with thundery showers across the far south of Italy and Sicily. Dry and fine elsewhere across Italy. Greece and the Turkish resorts will also be unsettled with heavy rain and or showers. A fair day across France with plenty of warm sunshine. Dry and fine with sunny spells across most of central and northern Europe thanks to higher pressure here. Some showers at risk across Bulgaria and the southern Balkan States. Denmark sees fine weather again today as well as across the Baltics. Windier across north and central Sweden and and Norway with rain affecting northwest Norway. Windy with a few showers but largely dry across Finland.
Wednesday A fair day across Spain and Portugal with lots of sunshine. Scattered showers in eastern Spain but fine through the Balearics. Fine too for Italy, Corsica and Sardinia with lots of sunshine. Rain in Greece, some of it heavy. Turkey will be fair too with more sunshine here. A sunny day in France although a few showers in the northwest. Plenty of sunshine across the Low Countries and Germany. Poland will be dry with lots of sunshine. Dry and fine too in Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland. Denmark will be dry with sunshine. Further dry weather and more sunshine in the Baltic States, Finland will be dry too with more sunshine. Sweden and Norway will be dry with lots of sunshine although cloud and some rain in the far north.
