Central and southern showers but with fine weather moving into northern areas.
High pressure centred around Biscay maintains dry and very warm conditions for Spain and Portugal. Windy and cooler for France, with areas of heavy rain drifting southwards. Thundery bursts likely for the Alps and northern Italy. Showers for the Balkans, also southern Germany and the Czech Republic. A risk of local bursts of rain for the Baltic states, but much of eastern Europe stays dry and warm. Possible afternoon showers for mainland Greece , but the Greek islands and the eastern Mediterranean will be dry and sunny. High pressure builds into Scandinavia, resulting in a fair day for many areas, although early rain moves across southern Sweden. Strengthening southwesterly winds will push rain into western Norway later. Temperatures in the low to mid 20s across most central and southern areas, locally near 30C in the south of Spain and Portugal but becoming cooler in the north and cold in the north and west of Scandinavia.
Much of Spain and Portugal will be dry with spells of sunshine but showers, perhaps locally heavy and thundery in the north and East of Spain will extend east across into the Balearics and towards Corsica and Sardinia. Some sunshine for Italy and the Adriatic but with showers breaking out for a time. Sunshine and showers to Greece too but, while isolated showers will develop, much of Turkey will be dry.
Showers in the south of France, with a risk of Thunder, while some showers may crop up in Switzerland and Austria. Much of France, though, along with the Low Countries, Germany and Poland will be dry with a good deal of sunshine, the largely dry weather extending into Eastern Europe as well.
Breezy across Scandinavia with rain or drizzle at times but much of Denmark and the Baltic States will stay dry with some sunshine.
Little change temperature-wise generally.
