Torrential showers central Mediterranean, Italy and central Europe, risk of flooding
Sunday Showers affecting northern parts of Spain today. Fair for most other areas with lots of sunshine. Some heavy showers over the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Torrential thunderstorms affecting Italy where could be some flooding at times. Greece and Turkey will be fair and hot with lots of sunshine. France will be largely dry with good spells of sunshine, although some heavy thunderstorms in the east. The Low Countries will also be fair as will be much of the northern half of Germany. Further torrential storms affecting Poland, Austria and Switzerland, as well as southern Germany with flash flooding possible. Denmark should be fair with plenty of sunshine as will be most of Sweden. However, the far south-east of Sweden in the Baltic states makes a few showers. Finland should be dry with plenty of sunshine. Some rain and showers, as well as lots of cloud for much of Norway, although the far north of Norway could be dry.
Monday A dry day for Portugal and Spain with lots of sunshine. Try to in the Balearics. Some more showers affecting Corsica and Sardinia with further heavy showers in Italy, some of these torrential in the north. Greece should be dry with lots of sunshine and it stays hot and sunny in Turkey. a dry day in France with good spots of sunshine. Dry too in Belgium and the Netherlands as well as Germany. Sunshine in Poland although some rain in the far south-east. Austria will have some heavy thunderstorms and that is extend into Hungary. Better in Switzerland where it will be dry with sunny spells. Denmark will have a fair day with lots of sunshine here. Staying dry and sunny across the southern half of Norway and for most of Sweden as well as the Baltic states. Some rain affecting Finland and this extends into the far north of Norway and northern Sweden. Western parts of Norway may be breezy with a few showers running along the coast.
