Rain in northern Europe but fine and hot in the Mediterranean
Tuesday Hot and sunny for most of Spain and Portugal, some showers near the Biscay coast. Fine weather also extends across the Mediterranean with hot sunshine for Italy and Greece. Hot and sunny too for southeastern Europe from Hungary to the Black Sea. Showers for northern France, some heavy bursts moving across Belgium and the Netherlands by afternoon. Drier for southern France. Heavy rain moves east across Germany in the morning, followed by showery bursts in the west later. Rain for the Alps too. Increasingly wet for much of Poland with heavy rain and thunderstorms developing widely. Rain for Denmark much of the day, extending into southern Norway and Sweden. Areas of showers further north over Scandinavia, drier for the Baltic States.
Wednesday Portugal and Spain are going to be fair and sunny through Wednesday. The fair weather extends through the Balearics and into Italy. Greece and Turkey will both be fine too with more sunshine to come here. A sunny day in France, dry and very warm. The Low Countries will also be dry and sunny. Scattered showers developing in the north and west of Germany whilst Poland is dry and sunny. Hungary and Austria are likely to be having some rain ort showers, possibly thundery. Further thundery showers in Switzerland. Sunny spells and scattered showers for Denmark and the far south of Sweden. More persistent rain in central Sweden with rain in the Baltic States as well. Northern Sweden is likely to be dry as well be northern Norway The south of Norway will be wetter with some rain.
