Wind and rain in Spain and Portugal, cold in eastern Europe
Another wet day for eastern Spain, with heavy rain, or snow over higher ground. Strong easterly winds continue for the western Med. Dry for Portugal and far west of Spain. Largely dry for France, although heavy rain affects the far south.
High pressure over central Europe brings extensive dry and clear weather to areas from northern France to Germany, the Alps and out toward the Black Sea. Frost and fog in places. Dry too for much of Italy and Greece, local showers for Sicily.
A westerly breeze for Scandinavia. Some rain for southern Finland, largely dry for much of Sweden, southern Norway and Denmark. The north of Norway sees persistent rain and snow over the mountains, to lower levels in the north.
Heavy rain in Spain on Wednesday, mostly in the north and another areas through the south which will affect southern Portugal too. Further rain to come in the Balearics. Mist and fog afecting Italy through the morning. It should be fair in Greece and Turkey with plenty of sunshine, but feeling cold here.
Rain and wind in southern France, some of it heavy. Northern France should be dry with sunny spells. The Low Countries and Germany will have mist and fog, this only slowly clearing. Poland will be cold with sunny spells. Staying chilly in Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland.
Sunny spells and dry for Denmark. Windy through Sweden with more sunshine here. Staying windy and feeling cold through the Baltic States and Finland with a few wintry showers. Wet weather and some heavy rain affecting western Norway.
