High pressure extends across central and southern Europe, giving widespread dry and bright weather for countries around the Mediterranean, also Alpine regions. Temperatures reaching 20C in south-western Spain and Portugal. Typically 14 to 17C for Italy and Greece. Very mild too for France, highs 15C, and staying dry. Strong winds toward northern France, also Belgium and the Netherlands. Persistent rain affects Denmark, also the far north of Germany and Poland, drier toward the south. Fine weather to for the Czech Republic and Hungary. A small area of high pressure brings a fine day to much of Norway and Sweden, although the far south of Sweden may be wet. Frequent snow showers and cold north-westerly winds for northern Scandinavia.

Continued dry and bright weather across central and southern Europe under the influence of high pressure. Mild southerly winds across western Europe bring temperatures up to 21C in southern Spain, and 16C in western France. Fine across the Mediterranean, although a few showers may clip Sicily. Dry across the Alps. Some low lying low cloud or fog. Northern Germany, the Low Countries and areas around the southern Baltic will stay rather grey and wet as low pressure affects the region. High pressure further north across Scandinavia brings dry, bright but cold weather to central Sweden and Norway. Dry too for Finland.
