Thundery rain across northwest Europe pushes east and north-east into the weekend
An improved day across northern Spain with dry and fine conditions elsewhere here. The Balearic Islands though could see the odd shower passing through. Thunderstorms developing over Sardinia and Corsica as well as Sicily, but mainland Italy looking to be mainly dry. Mostly dry for Greece but thundery showers developing across northern parts of Turkey.
Thundery rain still affecting France, the Netherlands, Belgium and parts of Germany into the Alpine countries. Largely dry and fine though across eastern Europe.
The Baltics and Finland stay generally dry and warm, whilst parts of Norway will see some rain. Thundery and heavy rain expected across central and northern regions of Sweden. Showery rain moving across Denmark.
A largely dry day across Portugal and Spain, although showers are expected to push across in places. Cloud will also build across Portugal and western regions of Spain. A few scattered showers likely to affect the Balearics. Thundery showers for Sardinia, Corsica Sicily as well as across Italy, heavy in the far south. Largely dry for Greece and Turkey.
A mostly dry day across France with sunny spells although far eastern areas may just see a few showers earlier on. Largely dry too for the Netherlands. Showery, thundery rain across Germany will become confined to southern and eastern regions later. These then moving into western parts of Poland and the Czech Republic. Dry for the Balkans.
Rather mixed across southern regions of Norway and Sweden as low pressure dominates here bringing showery rain, perhaps thundery. Drier further north here and largely dry across Finland. A few developing showers across the Baltic States too. Rain mostly clearing Denmark to suggest a better afternoon.
