Heavy rain into Spain Monday

Today
Fairly mild conditions are expected across western and central parts of Europe. With high pressure over the Adriatic and Turkey we can expect a good deal of fine, dry weather from Spain, The Low Counties into Germany and most of Poland. An area of rain will lie across southern Sweden, Denmark, into the north of Germany and northern Poland. Fine across Finland today. Lots of dry weather is expected across The Balkans, The Adriatic Region along with Turkey and Italy. Strong south westerly gales will affect northern parts of Europe. Snow will affect Norway along with northern parts of Sweden and Russia. A few showers will be around Scilly. A strong east wind prevails through the Straits of Gibraltar with southerly gales into Biscay.



Monday
Wet and windy across western Britain but staying mild. This area of heavy rain extends south across into Portugal and Spain. Fine and dry today across France, Italy. A dry day across Germany into Sweden, Poland and Belarus. A few snow showers to affect Norway. Most of the Balkans and the Adriatic Region will remain dry with good sunny spells as high pressure dominates. Heavy snow is expected across the Ukraine with snow across Russia. Mainly dry and cold across the Baltic States. Gales to affect Britain into Biscay and northern Spain.
