Thundery central Europe but hot and dry in the Mediterranean

Thursday
Fine and hot for Spain and Portugal on Thursday. Lots of sunshine here throughout the day. Scattered showers in the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Showers too in northern Italy but fair in the south. Greece and Turkey will have good spells of sunshine and will be warm.
Heavy thunderstorms in the south of France but fine in central, northern and western areas as well as being hot. More sunshine in the Low Countries and Germany. Poland will have scattered thunderstorms in central areas, otherwise it will be dry. Hungary should be dry with sunny spells whilst Austria and Switzerland will have some heavy, thundery showers.
Early sunshine in Denmark, but some rain later. The Baltic States and Finland will be dry with plenty of sunshine. Most of Sweden is dry with sunshine too. Cloud, wind and some heavy rain in Norway, gales in the west.

Friday
Spain and Portugal will have a fair day on Friday. Plenty of sunshine again and feeling hot too. Showers for the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia, although they should be scattered. Fair in southern Italy with sunny spells here. Greece and Turkey will be fine and dry, more spells of sunshine to come here.
Thundery rain in southern France, showery bursts of rain in the north. Drier for other areas with sunny spells. Some patchy rain in northern Germany and the Low Countries. Dry in Poland with sunny spells. Mostly dry for Hungary although heavy and thundery showers in Switzerland and Austria.
Denmark will have some cloud and a few showers. Fair for the Baltic States and Finland, more sunny spells here. Scattered showers in Sweden but mostly dry and fair. Sunny spells too for Norway, some rain in the west.
