Hot and sunny Mediterranean, unsettled and cool northern Europe


Tuesday
A dry and fine day for Spain, Portugal and the Balearics. Largely dry for Italy and the islands, although the odd developing shower cannot be completely ruled out across northern regions of Italy. A few thunderstorms across parts of mainland Greece but largely dry elsewhere here and feeling hot as well as across Turkey.
Some rain affecting the far northeast of France but largely dry and fine elsewhere. A relatively fresher feel again. A few showers affecting the Low Countries and Germany, some heavy, but largely dry. Showers could get as far south as Switzerland and Austria later on. Mostly dry and feeling hot across east Europe.
Low pressure sits over southern Sweden which will bring outbreaks of rain to south Sweden, rain and windy conditiond to Denmark as well as the Baltics, rain at times heavy. The rain also affecting southeast Norway and the far south of Finland. Largely dry elsewhere here.


Wednesday
Fair through Spain and Portugal. Plenty of sunshine here and feeling very warm too. More sunshine through the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. A few showers in southern Italy but fine to the north. Lots of sunshine and very warm weather in Greece.
France will be bright and dry with sunny spells. A scattering of showers for the Low Countries and northern Germany. Poland will be fair with sunny spells, but some showers in the far north. Hungary and Austria should be dry with lots of sunshine. Staying fair for Switzerland.
Cool and breezy in Denmark with a few showers. Windy and wet for the Baltic States. Finland is going to be chilly and unsettled with more rain here. Sweden will have some rain in the north and east but will be drier to the south. For Norway the day will be cool with a mix of sunshine and showers.
