Hot and dry in southern Europe, heavy showers and thunderstorms in central and northern areas

Sunday
Fair with plenty of sunshine and very warm conditions across Spain and Portugal. A low risk of a shower in the east. Fine for much of the central Mediterranean with hot and sunny conditions. Some showers forming over the hills of Italy but fair for most of the country. Greece stays very warm and dry with Turkey remaining dry and hot too.
France says dry and very warm with plenty of sunshine. Fair too in the Low Countries. Some rain in eastern parts of Germany and western Poland, this heavy at times. Fair for eastern Poland and Hungary. Heavy showers or thunderstorms in Austria and Switzerland.
Fair in Denmark with sunny spells. Heavy showers and periods of rain in Sweden and Norway. Scattered showers for the Baltic States. Finland will have further showers, some of them heavy. Fair in northern Norway and Sweden with lots of sunny spells.

Monday
Hot, dry and sunny again for Spain and Portugal. More sunshine and hot weather in the Balearics as well as through Corsica and Sardinia. Scattered showers forming in Italy but mostly dry with sunny spells. Greece and Turkey with lots of sunshine and staying cery warm or hot here.
Fine for France with lots of sunshine and hot conditions. More sunshine in the Low Countries and Germany. Some showers and patchy rain in central and eastern Poland. Scattered showers in Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland. The showers may become heavy at times.
Fair through Denmark with lots of sunshine. Isolated showers for the Baltic States. Finland will have heavier showers as well as through Sweden. Norway is likely to be mostly dry with god spells of sunshine to come here.
