Heavy rain northern Italy and parts of central Europe, few showers in western Mediterranean

Thursday
Bright with some showers for Portugal and Spain, best of sunshine in south. Afternoon showers for France otherwise dry and sunny. High pressure for the British Isles but some strong winds an thick cloud far west later. Dry and sunny for the Low Countries and Denmark. Some showers for Germany, more frequent over north Poland. Mostly dry over Sweden, showers for Norway more frequent and wintry in north. Dry and sunny for Finland, some rain for the Baltic State, Belarus and Ukraine.
A bright start for Switzerland and Austria but afternoon showers will develop. Some showers for Czechia, a longer spell of rain for Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia. Some rain for Romania and the Balkans.
Heavy rain and strong winds for the Balearics, Sardinia, Corsica and Italy. Some thunderstorms for western Greece. Dry and sunny for Turkiye and Cuprus.

Friday
Some rain in northwest Spain. A few showers in the south. Fair for other areas with sunny spells. A few showers affecting the Balearics. Showers in Sardinia but fair for Corsica. Heavy showers over Italy, thundery in northern areas. Heavy thunderstorms may affect western Greece, dry in the east. Fair for Turkey with plenty of sunshine and dry weather.
Fair for much of France with lots of warm sunshine. Fair again through the ow Countries and northern Germany. Cloud and rain in the south of Poland. Further rain for Hungary, Austria and Switzerland and this is going to be heavy and thundery.
Fair for Denmark, lots of sunshine and dry weather. The Baltic States will be bright and dry with good spells of sunshine. More sunshine in Finland. Good conditions too in Sweden with sunny spells. Rain in central and northern Norway, dry in the south of Norway and rather cloudy.
