Cold with snow in the east
Today It's very windy across northern parts of Europe today. Spells of heavy rain to affect England, The Low Countries, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. A cold but dry day to come for Norway and Sweden while heavy snow is forecast for Finland and western parts of Russia. Heavy rain is expected across the Baltic States and Belarus. Much of the Adriatic Region and the Balkans will again be fair and dry with sunny spells. Rain is likely across the Ukraine and Romania. More unsettled today across Turkey with showers and longer spells of rain. Another fine, sunny day across Portugal, Spain and Italy. Strong east winds persist through the Straits of Gibraltar as will the gales across northern Europe. It will be coldest across eastern parts of Europe and Scandinavia with the mildest temperatures across southern Spain.
Tuesday Lots of fine dry weather with sunny spells for Portugal, Spain, France, the Balearics into Italy. Warmest again across the south of Italy. More rain and gales to affect much of northern and eastern Europe. Heavy rain is expected across England, Belgium, Holland, Germany into Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania. Cloudy with patchy rain for Poland. Cold but dry across Norway and Swede,. Snow is forecast across Finland and Russia with showers across the Baltic States. For the Adriatic Region, Greece and western parts of Turkey it should be a fine, dry day. Snow is expected across eastern Turkey. Further gusty winds prevail across southern France with gales across northern and eastern parts of Europe.
