Very unsettled week again for central Europe
Monday Scattered showers for northern Spain today. Most of Spain and Portugal will be dry though with lots of sunshine. Showers in the Balearics, some of them heavy. Wet in Italy with frequent heavy and thundery downpours. Scattered showers in western Greece but mostly dry. Fair for western Turkey, good spells of sunshine here, but thundery rain in the north and east. Unsettled in France, wet with some hefty bursts of rain in the north and west. Further heavy rain in the far southeast of France and in Switzerland. More rain in the Low Countries as well as western parts of Germany. Fine in eastern Germany and Poland. A dry and sunny day for Hungary and Austria. Cloudy but mostly dry in Denmark. Fine and dry in the Baltic States with warm sunshine here. Broken cloud in Finland, mild or warm with some rain for a time. Sweden will have sunny spells and mostly dry in the south. Rain affecting western and northern Norway plus northern Sweden.
Tuesday Rain moves into northern Portugal, some showery bursts for northern Spain and the Balearics. Southern Spain dry, sunny and warm. Showers for Italy. More frequent rain for the Adriatic coasts and western Greece. The Greek islands and Turkey fine and warm. Showery rain frequent across France with fresh westerly winds. Mixed too through the Low Countries and Germany. A front moves east over Germany into western Poland, Czechia and Hungary giving some heavy rain. Showery rain for the Alps. Drier for southern Germany. Warm and dry toward the east of Europe and the Black Sea. Rain extends into southern Norway and Sweden turning heavy. Warm southerly air for the Baltic and into Finland. Cooler with showers for western Norway. Showers for Denmark too.
