Warmest across southern Iberia

It will be chilly across a large part of Europe, coldest across eastern Europe. A fine, mostly sunny day across Portugal and central and southern parts of Spain while an area of heavy showers lies from the Pyrenees to across the far north of Spain. Heavy showers are expected for the Balearics today. Intense rain clears south east France this morning otherwise a chilly day with a fair amount of cloud, some sun and occasional showers. Very heavy spells of rain are likely across northern parts of Italy, Corsica and Sardinia. Fine and dry across southern parts of Italy and The Adriatic Region. Dry with sunny spells across Greece, Bulgaria and western Turkey. Rain is likely across eastern Turkey. Dry, settled conditions are forecast across Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania into Poland. Cold with rain likely across Finland and Sweden while snow is forecast across Norway. Heavy snow is likely across Switzerland and later western Austria. An area of rain affects Germany today. On and off showers to come across Belgium and The Netherlands. Very windy from north east Spain across southern France to the Adriatic Sea.

Another dry and sunny day to come across Portugal and Spain. A few showers to come around the Balearics. Deep low pressure in the central Mediterranean will continue to produce gusty winds from north east Spain to the Adriatic Sea. Further snow is expected across the Alps today. An area of heavy rain is likely from Finland southward across the Baltic States, Poland, the Czech Republic into Austria, northern Italy and into Sardinia. Heavy showers are likely across southern Italy. It continued dry across The Adriatic Region, Bulgaria, Romania, most of Turkey, The Ukraine and western Russia. Expect a dry day for Norway, Sweden, Germany and most of France while a few coastal showers to affect the Low Countries and Denmark.
