Coldest in the east
Today It will be coldest across eastern parts of Europe and Scandinavia with the mildest temperatures across southern Spain. A windy day across northern Europe with south westerly gales blowing. An area of rain clears southern Britain spilling in across northern France, The Low Countries, Denmark, western Germany, and Sweden. Fine and dry in the south of France. A fine, dry and sunny day to come across Portugal, Spain into the Balearics and Italy. A number of showers are likely around Corsica and Sardinia. Fine and dry across much of the Balkans, the Adriatic Region and Turkey. Cold and windy across Norway with heavy snow while rain is forecast across Finland and Russia and this looks heavy.
Monday It continues very windy across northern parts of Europe today and also across the east. High pressure centred over central Europe will give a good deal of fine, dry weather from Spain eastward across into France, Germany, The Low Countries, The Balkans and the Adriatic Region. Dry with lots of sunshine too across Norway, Sweden and Finland. Cloudy, wet and windy across Russia with outbreaks of rain with snow in the east. Some rain spills in across Portugal with scattered, heavy showers around Corsica, Sardinia and Scilly. Dry with sunny spells across Italy and Turkey.
