Calm winds facilitate fog along the north coasts overnight. Where out of fog, many will see plentiful sun. Clouds will linger in the north and far east.
Friday Patchy morning clouds give way to abundant sunshine in Iberia and western Mediterranean. Lingering showers in Italy soon clearing for sunshine as well. Showers and breeze continue in the eastern Mediterranean, though beginning to ease. Sun spells around the Aegean between showers. Fog banks likely along the Continent's north coast, some inland as well. Where out of fog, a fine day with sun in France, Germany, and the Low Countries. Clouds encroach further east in Poland and Czechia, sunnier in Hungary and Croatia and the Balkans. Clouds and snow into Romania and Bulgaria, remaining dry and cloudy further north. Winds quite calm in most places. Frequent showers continue on the west coasts of Scotland and Norway. Some isolated drizzly showers and cloudy into Denmark and Sweden. Winds rather calm in southern Scandinavia. Drier though still cloudy in the Baltics. Finland brighter but breezier.
Saturday Scattered clouds in Spain and Portugal soon clearing. Widely sunny across the Mediterranean and Italy, a few stray clouds here and there. Much of Greece is fair, though breezy with showers again in the Aegean and far east Mediterranean. Heavy showers, some thundery, onto Turkey's southern coast. Calm winds rebuild fog overnight across the Continent's north coast, some inland as well. Where clear of fog, a fine sunny day for France, Germany, and the Alpine Countries. Mostly sunny eastward in Hungary, Romania, and south towards Greece. Cloudier in Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus. Mostly dry here though an isolated drizzle or sleet shower is possible. Low pressure in the far north pushes snow across Norway's west coast. Widely cloudy and breezy across Scandinavia, isolated snow showers breaking across Sweden and Finland. Denmark and the Baltics will be cloudy as well with isolated drizzle patches.
