Fine and hot Mediterranean, some central thunderstorms


Wednesday
Some showers may affect the west of Portugal. Hot in the rest of Portugal and Spain with good spells of sunshine. Fair across the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Scattered showers in northern Italy, fair in the south. Greece will be hot and sunny. Staying fine and sunny across Turkey and feeling hot here.
A fine day for France, hot and sunny. Staying fair for the Low Countries. Germany and western Poland. Some showers in the east of Poland. Austria should be fine with good spells of sunshine, and it will be remaining fair for Hungary too. Switzerland will have showers, some of them heavy.
Denmark will be fair and dry, good spells of sunshine here. Cooler for the Baltic States with a mix of sunshine and showers. Fair for Sweden, good sunny spells. Scattered showers in Norway, some sunny spells here as well.


Thursday
Thunderstorms developing across Spain today, some of them heavy and focussed over central and northern areas. Drier for the south of Spain. Fine through the central Mediterranean. Scattered showers developing over southern Italy, fair in the north, Hot for Greece with sunny spells. Fair too in Turkey and hot, a chance of a thunderstorm forming in central Turkey.
France will be dry with sunshine throughout. Staying dry in the Low Countries with sunshine here. Germany will be warm and dry with sunny spells., Some thunderstorms forming in central and southern Poland, these extending to Hungary. Heavy thunderstorms may affect Austria with sunshine and fair weather in Switzerland.
Sunny spells for Denmark and dry here too. Some showers in southern Sweden. The Baltic States will be fair with sunny spells. Sunshine and showers in Finland and staying dry in northern Sweden. Scattered showers over the coasts of Norway.
