Rain in northern Europe, but mostly fine for the Mediterranean
Tuesday Windy today with south westerly gales in the channel and across Britain while north westerly gales prevail across eastern parts of Europe. A band of rain clears England and spreads in across northern France and affects Portugal, northern Spain along with Belgium, Holland and Sweden with snow flurries across Norway. Fine with sunny spells for southern parts of Spain and southern France into Germany, Denmark, Poland, Belarus, The Ukraine and the Czech Republic. Cold with snow across Russia. Largely dry but a cloudy, windy day across Finland. Most of Italy looks dry while a few sharp showers will be found near Corsica and Sardinia. A fine, dry and mostly sunny day is expected across the Adriatic Region along with the Balkan States. Fine as well across Turkey with sunny spells.
Wednesday Fine with plenty of sunshine across Spain and Portugal today. The balearics stay dry with sunshine here. Some heavy showers in southern Italy, but dry and bright to the north. Fair for Greece with plenty of sunshine. A few showers developing in Turkey. Fair with some decent spells of sunshine in France. Mostly dry and mild in the Low Countries and Germany, although some showery rain affecting Poland. Cloud and some showers for Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland. Mostly fai in Denmark. Cloud and showery rain in the Baltic States and Finland, where it will be windy too. Showers in Sweden, but mostly fair for Norway, although some rain int eh south later.
