Local showers Alps and southeast Europe

Monday
A few showers in eastern Spain, but fair elsewhere for Spain and Portugal with plenty of sunshine. More sunshine to come in the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. A few showers breaking out in Italy. Greece and Turkey will be mostly fine although a few showers.
France will have plenty of sunshine and should be dry as well. Some showers affecting the Netherlands also northern coasts of Germany. Local heavy showers forming over Poland and Czechia. Hungary will be dry with some sunshine. Austria and Switzerland will have a mix of sunny spells and showers, most widely by afternoon.
Cloud and some outbreaks of showery rain in Denmark. Windier further north over Scandinaiva. Rain for Norway and western Sweden, drier further east near the Baltic and for much of Finland. The Baltic states will have broken cloud but mostly dry.

Tuesday
Fine with sunshine for most of Spain and Portugal, plus the Balearics. Isolated showers for Corsica and Sardinia. Showers forming widely down the spine of Italy, fewer showers for northern Italy. Scattered showers develoipng for Greece, locao thundery showers in western Turkey. Some heavy rain too for northern Romania.
Fine for France, the Low Countries and Germany as high pressure extends across north-central Europe. Local showers for the Alps, Slovakia and southern Poland by afternoon. Dry for much of Poland and the Baltic region. Further rain in the west and north of Norway. Mostly dry for Sweden, a little patchy rain moving across Finland.
