A dry, settled spell of weather for western Europe going into the weekend
Hot, dry and sunny for Portugal, Spain and the Balearics. Warm too for Corsica, Sardinia and Italy where it will be mostly dry. A few showers flaring up for western Italy through the afternoon. Hot and dry too for Greece and Turkey with the odd shower for western and southern parts of Greece at times.
Dry and mostly sunny for France and the Low Countries with high cloud occasionally turning the sun hazy. A few isolated showers for northern Germany, northwestern Poland, the Czech Republic and Austria through the day but it should be mostly dry and fair across central Europe.
Cloudy with showers for Denmark and the Baltic States. A few sunny spells developing later. Rain clearing Finland through the morning to leave a dry and sunny afternoon. Sunny and mostly dry too for southern and central parts of Norway and Sweden. A few scattered showers to the north and west.
Another hot, dry and sunny day for Portugal, Spain and the Balearic Islands. Warm and sunny too for Corsica, Sardinia and Italy although some afternoon showers could flare up, particularly for central and southern Italy. Hot, dry and sunny too for Greece and Turkey though some showers affect northern Greece and eastern Turkey through the afternoon.
Warm, bright and dry for France, the Low Countries and Switzerland on Saturday. Warm, bright and mostly dry too for Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Austria though some isolated showers could flare up through the late afternoon.
A few showers for Denmark through the morning but these clearing to leave a dry and bright afternoon. Cloudy for the Baltics on Saturday but it should stay mostly dry. A band of heavy rain will move from southern Norway through central and southern Sweden into southern Finland by the end of the day. To the west of this will be sunny with just the odd isolated shower.
